Clicker Trainer Super Trainer: Workshop 2: Jul 21

Clicker Trainer Super Trainer: Workshop 2 - Jul 21

with Kay Laurence

Clicker training has now become a familiar part of dog training. It gives us simple clarity communicating with dogs, it allows us to teach simple behaviours exquisitely, and complex behaviours that amaze. The more we discover the more we realise that the dogs are the super learners and we are just along for the ride.

Dogs welcome from 16 weeks old, no upper age limit.

 This Workshop is:

  • Workshop 2: Creating a range of tools: targets, patterns, cues. Getting the structure for your path ahead. Good disciplines, easy techniques, practice protocols.

Other Workshops:

  • Workshop 1: Building your super learner: where choice becomes the power circuit, creating an inexhaustible desire to learn.

  • Workshop 3: Adding the passion and power. Acquisition with energy, examining the small detail that makes the learning structure strong.

  • Workshop 4: Reaching for the sky. Complex behaviour chains taught in simple stages, using behaviours to affect emotional responses. Exploring your dogs learning capacity.

  • Workshop 5: Flying into outer space: Where no trainers have explored before. Cutting edge discoveries, astonishing results, conceptual learning.

The five types of workshops rotate through the year in the same order. Some familiarity with clicker training is useful. Progress in this workshop will be quite swift, advancing your learning is often about returning to the beginning to re-discover the subtle details in the journey.

"The voyage of discovery is not in seeing
new landscapes, but in having new eyes".

All workshops will have a range of learners at different levels. The only requirement is a desire to learn and "have new eyes".

Barns opens at 10am for a 10.30 start, finishing by 3.30pm
